Rip Gajjar, Esq.- Of Counsel

Since graduating from St. John’s School of Law, Rip has been representing individuals and businesses in litigation matters ranging from breach of contract and unfair competition to property disputes and violations issued by local government agencies. Rip has experience litigating in both State and Federal Courts where he effectively represents clients with his understanding of recent trends in the law and ability to persuasively argue his clients’ positions.

Rip has also represented businesses in every aspect of commercial transactions, including drafting partnership agreements, negotiating employment contracts, and filing and defending trademark applications. Rip has also been involved in helping companies obtain the proper licenses and authorizations to expand into new areas of business and enter new markets. As general counsel for an American-based consumer products company, Rip worked with overseas manufacturers and distributers to protect the company’s brand and profitability.

Rip began his legal career as a paralegal and subsequently attended St. John’s School of Law where he was a member of the New York International Law Review. He interned at the Department of Enforcement at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and was involved in bringing regulatory actions against firms such as Lehman Brothers, UBS and E-Trade. Rip also interned at the Litigation Bureau of the Office of the Attorney General of New York where he represented State agencies such as the Department of Banking and the Board of Regents, and defended actions filed against State judges.

Rip continues to work with individuals and businesses, providing effective counsel to resolve disputes in a cost-effective manner.
